So who does that guy cheer for when we play in 2014 or whenever it is?

The JACKRABBITS are comin’ to town!!

  2. johnnyj Says:

…Is it true that Tejas A&M went to the SEC?

If so, here comes the domino effect! Tejas, Tejas Tech and the Oklahomos to the Pac-16!?!
…That means the Original Pac 8 will be a conference again—well, half of a conference, I guess—you get my point…
…I think I’ll swing by the U. book store tomorrow and buy all the Pac-12 (logo) shirts, I imagine they’ll be collector items—the shortest-lived conference in history…

    • dfm Says:

I have heard that the SEC officially invited Tejas A and M if they can get Baylor to drop the threats of legal action (I have no idea what that legal action entails). I suspect a very large check will be on the way to Waco and all will be fine. Look for the SEC to pick off Florida State, Miami, and one other, maybe Clemson.

Once this is settled, kiss the Big 12 goodbye and say hello to the first superconference, the Pac sixteen. I sort of like this, as I would LOVE to see the good ‘ol Pac 8 back! FINALLY a nice nod to tradition.

I am hoping that the Big Ten gets ND and Mizzou. All the rest of the Big 12 can pound shit in my opinion – I don’t give a fuck about Kansas and Iowa State and all of those other bullshit schools. After ND and Mizzou, both of whom should have been in the Big Ten two decades ago, I am happy. I suppose the Big Ten will pick up idontgiveafuck university, but all conferences have those. Shit, I am surprised they didn’t kick out Illinois yet.

      • dfm Says:

whoops, ESPN is now saying that the eight sisters of the poor of the Big 12 are aligned against this A and M thing, not just Baylor. Well, looks like this will be interesting.

        • dfm Says:

further – the other big twelve schools say they will waive any rights to suing either A and M or the SEC if and only if Oklahomo guarantees that they will stay in the Big Twelve for a while. Wow, what a cluster.

  3. dfm Says:

blah ha! I was just checking on Wiscos next opponent, Beaver Meat. They lost to Sacramento State last week! Good luck suckas.

  4. johnnyj Says:

…This will be interesting indeed! I like the ‘Superconference’ deal because it will simply set-up an undeniable playoff format that those dumbass BCS bastards can’t resist…Then again, its probably been the plan the entire time…

I smell a “2-tier” future for KFB—The “Upper Crust” being all the teams in the potential four 16-team Superconferences and the rest; well…That would suck, actually…

That means the ‘elitist independents’ (Hah, Cough, ND, BYU, cough) have to pony up! Maybe they’ll let GOD decide, that’s a game I’d pay to watch, MORONS!…Armed forces: NAVY, ARMY, etc. ARE the ONLY INDEPENDENTS as far as I see it…Anywho—

This all falls apart though if Tejas decides to go independent, which very well might happen…Damn Sippers…

  5. johnnyj Says:

Wow, this IS a big brainfuck…They’ll finger it out, eventually…

  6. johnnyj Says:

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are about to give the B12 the middle finger…?…Maybe…

Screw the Longhorns, the P16 should take TTech and Baylor…It wont matter if the Oklahomos are already in…

…It’s just fun playing-out the scenarios…I want my ORIGINAL PAC-8 back so I don’t give a shit who’s in the other half of the conference…

    • dfm Says:

yea dude, I agree with that origninal pac eight deal. But FUCK Baylor and TTech, those schools are bullshit! Take Oklahomo, Tejas, I’m a Man and you will prolly get TTech along with those, but you gotta take the good with the bad.

      • johnnyj Says:

Yep, that’s the rumor—Longhorns, Red Raiders, Sooners and ‘Imma man’s’ are the candidates…That’s a whopper TV contract, YA THINK?

        • dfm Says:

jaysus I would say so, but like you said who gives a fuck who is on the other side of the slate as long as you get the awesome pac eight back – get those retro t-shirts ready!

      • johnnyj Says:

Hmm, I haven’t heard that yet…It’s obvious the Longhorns ‘feel’ they have the upper hand, they ‘threatened’ to go independent!
Oklahoma isn’t a pushover either, they’ll probably gain some leverage considering that they’re the #1 team in the country while the shitbag longhorns went 5-7 last season…

Either way, I would love to have them both in the ‘lower half’ of the pac8/10/12/16…

  7. dfm Says:

wtf i just read that the SEC is talking to Mizzou? Whoa I could never see them in any conference besides the Big Ten. Shows how much I know.

    • johnnyj Says:

“Misery” in the SEC? Uh, no, probably not…Maybe they’ll swap for Vanderbilt…?

It looks like any team can join any conference that is going to give the best TV contract! DUH!…Apparently, geography waved bye-bye in this “realignment” when TCU went to the Big East…I still don’t get that one…

  8. dfm Says:

yea geography really doesn’t have much to do with it. But don’t shed too many tears for Baylor, I remember when they told the Southwest Conference to stuff it and they bolted for the NEW Big 12. Assbags.

    • johnnyj Says:

SO you’re saying the COUGS should/could join the ACC or Big East? Many hearts of Pac-8/10/12/16 fans would be broken but Boise State is an easy replacement…

…I’m just saying, Geography SHOULD matter…I ‘d hate to lose the Coogs anyway—that shit won’t happen…They’d be awesome in the WAC/MWC though!

      • dfm Says:

I think that geography should matter too, but I love my old conferences from my childhood. But that shit is long gone. It is a new time, new things. The past is just that…the past. Fuck tradition the new powers say, it is all about money, tv deals and a stupid fucking system that nobody understands.. The Big Ten stretches from Nebraska to Pennsylvania now. The Pac Eight will stretch from Seattle to Austin. Everything old is not new again, my friend. Us traditionalists are dinosaurs, soon all to be extinct.

      • johnnyj Says:

…I heard an interesting comment on the radio yesterday morning:

“If you like change then you’re probably a college football fan. If you don’t like change then you probably watch the NFL.”

I almost pissed myself laughing—Nothing further from the truth…In my case, anyway…

  9. TD Says:

    It’s all about MONEY!
I think the Sips started this clusterf–k by setting up their “Longhorn Sports Network”
How long will it be before someone proposes that all college football players get an automatic degree in Sports Studies, and $100K for playing football?
